snapped this beaut in my parents lush green backyard up in Eugene, Oregon….. this is the same lawn i ran around in as a toddler wild & free in the sprinklers. it is the place i spent 18years looking out onto from my bedroom window… seemed like i knew this place like the back of my hand. Now that i am older…. have moved away…traveled some of this amazing world, i can come home & see this recognizable place with an entirely new perspective. One with even greater love and appreciation for all the nurturing support i had growing up which has brought me to where i am in this very moment.
Sometimes you gotta flip your world upside down. challenge your beliefs, your perspective, take great adventures, loose yourself… to continue to see the new, the infinite & even the familiar, with new eyes.
Most importantly, to realize, the grass is greenest exactly where you are standing. ; )
